Practice Schedules/Locations:
Prior to tournaments starting, Developmental, Club, and Hybrid Teams will practice 2 days/week (1 weeknight and 1 weekend time slot) for 2 hours each practice. Power teams will practice 2 days/week (1 weeknight and 1 weekend time slot) for 2.5 hours each practice. Once tournaments start, it may be that a weekend practice after a tournament will not take place – should this be the case, we will do our best to schedule an extra weekday practice for any team affected by this. Practice locations will be in Greenwood and include (but are not limited to): THE KAGE (our club facility), Greenwood Christian School, Greenwood Presbyterian Church, John G. Lamb Enrichment Center. Schedules will be based on availability of facilities and will be created based on the schedules of players (within reason).
Additional Training:
Speed and Agility
Has been offered in previous years. Offering this season will be dependent upon number of teams and availability of practice space/times.
Positional Training
Has been offered in previous years. Offering this season will be dependent upon number of teams and availability of practice space/times.
Regular Travel Season Length:
Once the teams are formed, we will have a club-wide meeting (Date, Time, Location - TBD). After Thanksgiving, team practices will begin. December practices will be primarily skills clinic-style and attendance is required. Developmental teams’ seasons finish in mid-March. All other Teams will end their regular season with the regional tournament (Dates TBA). Hybrid and Power Teams/Players have the option to add Big South and/or Sunshine Classic (Dates TBA) to their schedule this season. If whole teams can’t attend, we will assemble teams of interested players. Practice schedule will be implemented 2-3 weeks prior to attending.
