Details:
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 10-March 19 (12 sessions)
Times: 5:30-7:30
Location: Greenwood High School (1816 Cokesbury Road) in the new gym (this is the gym closest to the entrance to the football and other fields.
Cost to ECJ: Pay Online with registration OR before start of Academy (cash or check) - $120; Pay at start of Academy (cash or check only) - $130
Cost includes all 12 dates of instruction PLUS a t-shirt.
Other Cost: $10 for a USAV Membership - details sent upon registration
Basic Format:
We will cover all age-appropriate volleyball skills.
Play will be small-sided (2v2, 3v3) games - we may modify court size/net height/ball type depending on level. (*this is to encourage players to participate in all aspects/skills of the game)
There is a strong focus on the FUNdamentals. We want your child to learn the basics and learn to LOVE the game of volleyball!
If you're looking for a great way to learn the fundamentals in a positive environment with experienced coaches who have played at a high level, this is the place for you. Travel ball is not for everyone - sometimes it's the cost, the travel, the time commitment, or even the environment. Don't feel pressured into doing travel ball if it's not the right fit for you. Give our Munchkin Academy a try so you can see how great volleyball can be and learn to LOVE the game.
