About Peak Performance:
Peak Performance combines Performance Physical Therapy services, movement coaching, and strength training to help our athletes get out of pain quickly, address the root cause of their pain, and learn how to take care of their bodies in the long run. We believe that most injuries can be managed conservatively and are passionate about injury prevention.
Our 3-Step Process:
About our team:
Peak Performance owner, Meredith Stevenson, is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2014. While a student at St. Augustine, she also competed in a 6-person relay swim of the English Channel in 2013. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Gardner-Webb University, while competing on the swim team for two years.
Prior to opening Peak Performance in February of 2021, Meredith had 6 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedics, where she specialized in treating all types of athletes and knee injuries/surgeries. She has additional training in Dry Needling through AAOMT, KT Taping and IASTM through RockTape, is FRC certified, and is a Sportsmetrics Level 1 certified practitioner. Meredith specializes in return to sport rehabilitation with athletes after ACL reconstructions, and is passionate about preventing injuries in young athletes. She enjoys CrossFit, triathlons, deer-hunting, open water swimming, and loves watching or playing any sport she can.
