WHat does it cost to play for ecj?

Cost:
(If cost is a concern for you, we will be doing a fundraiser. Players can participate if they'd like to try to help pay for their fees. INFORMATION COMING SOON.)
1. Tryout cost: $30 (non-refundable) - pay at tryout check in
2. USAV membership: $55 ($15 tryout fee must be paid with registration before tryouts – the $40 balance will be paid as soon as you accept a spot on a team) CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION DETAILS
3. Fees: Club fees vary depending on level. Payment plans are available. See table for rates and payment plan options.
4. Uniforms: All players will be required to purchase two jerseys. Cost of GIRLS' jerseys will be $130 total ($65 each for two jerseys) – Under Armor Sublimated jerseys. BOYS' jerseys are $100 total ($50 each for two jerseys). Each player also needs black spandex (girls) or black shorts (boys). Jerseys must be purchased by team meeting (Date, Time, Location TBD).
5. Balls: Each player is required to have a ball (12U must have lite ball). You do not need to buy another ball if you already have one. Cost of a ball is $35. Ball must be purchased by team meeting (Date, Time, Location TBD).
6. Travel: Please see tentative schedules here. We encourage families to carpool to help with gas costs. Most tournaments allow families to set up food tables for the teams, which helps with food cost, as well. Cost of travel (gas, hotels, etc) is not included in the regular fees. Decisions to stay overnight are at the family’s discretion. EXCEPTIONS: PVA Regional tournament is a stay-to-save tournament, and participants are required to use the region's reservation system to book their rooms. Big South (for Select Teams) is a Stay to Play tournament, and we must book through the tournament's vendor.
7. Notes about cost: We are not accepting credit cards at this time. We accept checks and cash. All checks need to be made payable to: Emerald City Juniors
If you would like to be considered for one of our few need-based scholarships, please submit your information on this form (click to access). Once scholarship applications have been received, they will be reviewed by our Board of Directors and scholarships will be awarded based on need an availability of funds.
